George grinned, his smile identical to Hollys.
"So...look, here comes Gary,"

"You mean Gareth," Natalie corrected grinning.

She turned round.

"Your punch," Gareth said, handing Natalie the cup.

"Thank you," said Natalie, "so...whats your favourite Quidditch team?"

"Tornados...great team...but they have a rubbish keeper...boy I'd love to play for them on day," said Gareth.

"I like the HolyHead Harpies," said Natalie.

"All girls team," Gareth grinned, "you for girl power?"

"Nah..they're just a good team," said Natalie.

"Im calling him Gary," Holly said, "Arent ya gonna introduce me and George to your boyfriend Nat?"

"Shut up," Natalie hissed, "and yes...I am. Gareth, this is Holly and George, her monkey friend."

"Nice to meet you both," Gareth smiled, "aren't you the seeker on the Gryffindor team." he added to Holly.

"Yeah," Holly said, glad somebody knew her, "Yeah I am....."
George smiled and nudged Holly.
"So uh- Gareth," George said, "You like Natalie then?"
Holly attempted to conceal a smile.

Gareth smiled.

"Yeah...I really like her...don't know why I never noticed her before," said Gareth.

Holly nodded smiling.
"Yeah....she likes you too." George said, reading her mind again.
Holly murmured to Natalie.
"We're helping- trust us, we know relationships,"

"Thanks, " said Natalie, appreaciateling now very much that Holly and George were her friends.

Holly grinned as George read Natalies mind again.
He would have to stop doing that.

Hayley slapped Natalie on the back. "You go girl!" then she coughed as Gareth looked at her. "Sorry," then laughed.

Holly nudged Hayley.

"Shall we go for a walk," Gareth asked Natalie.

"Ok...sure," said Natalie.

Gareth put his hand in her's. She laced her fingers through his, and they set of.

Natalie turned round and winked at Holly, telling her it was ok to discreatly follow them.

Holly almost laughed out loud.
This was all so sudden.
She stood up, picked up George, and they followed the two out of the door.

Natalie knew this was all so sudden, but Gareth was such a great guy.

She looked back at Holly and smiled.

"So Gareth," Holly yelled, "Come here often?"
She was saying this is in the hope that Natalie would repeat it.

Hayley followed Natalie, her lad, Holly and George outside, discreetly behind Holly. THen she stopped. "Holly, keep me updated," she whispered in her friends ear, "My date should be here soon, gotta go,"

"Righto," Holly said, and winked.

Shadow discreetly followed Holly.

Holly spotted Shadow and fell back to walk with her.
"Hilow," she said.

"Hello." Shadow replied.

"So? You stalking NatNerd too?"

Shadow gave a soft, howl-like laugh.
"Yeah, I suppose."

"Me too!" Holly said excitedly.

"Then we had best keep quiet." Shadow said.

"Sorry," Holly said quickly, "Yeah. So, never seen that Gareth dude before....you?"

"I've seen him a few times, but never taken much notice." Shadow replied.

"So..." said Gareth, and Natalie hoped he had not spotted the others, "you want to know i secret?"

"What?" asked Natalie.

"I like you...alot," said Gareth awkwardly.

Natalie smiled.

"I like you alot too." she said.

"AWWWWWWWWWWWWW!" Holly crooned, "Now thats just SWEET!"

Shadow raised her eyebrows.
"Right..."

Holly glanced over at Natalie, hoping she hadnt heard.
"It IS sweet though," she said, "You have to admit,"

"I suppose." Shadow replied.

Natalie smiled to herself.
'This boy better be a tad deaf' she though to herself, but when she turned to Gareth, she saw he was also smiling.

"You have very loud friends," said Gareth.

"Just the way I like it," said Natalie, smiling.

Shadow rolled her eyes, stepping out into the light.
"More like one loud friend," She said, smiling slightly.

"Thank you," Holly said, stepping out after her, "I hope you mean me,"

"Of course I do." Shadow replied.

Natalie rolled her eyes.

"What was that for?" Shadow asked, pretending to be angry.

"For being so....oh....nothing," said Natalie over her shoulder, defeated by Shadows stare.

Shadow dropped the pretense, smiling warmly at her friend.

Natalie smiled back.

Shadow had never showed that kind of emotion in all the time she had know her.

Shadow had sensed Natalie and her smile widened.
"I blocked my magic for tonight."

"You never smile warmly at me," Holly said annoyed.

"I've never been able to before." Shadow pointed out. "And also it would seem that Nat here just found the guy of her dreams."

Natalie felt very privilaged, but focused her attention back to her Gareth.

"So...whats your...you know...blood statues? Not that I care...I'm a mudblood" said Natalie proudly.

"Half blood," said Gareth, "my mother's a muggle....she did try to use dad's wand once...but she blew up a kettle....don't tell anyone."

"Don't worry...your secrets safe with me," said Natalie, smiling.

"And me, but you might not have wanted to say that in front of Holly." Shadow said, but gave Holly a smile to show that she was joking.

"Hem hem....personal conversation Shadow," said Natalie sternly, but winked to show she was joking.

"Nat, if you really didn't want anyone to eavesdrop, you had better keep the noise a little quieter. Both Raven and I have acute hearing." Shadow said, smiling.

Shadow Granger wrote:
