10 years later. Shadow and Jamies house.

Jamie ran down the stairs in a hurry, pulling on his sweater.
"hey..." he said to the person sitting on the stool in the kitchen...

"Can't be done." Raven said as the guard used a spell to knock out the struggling Shadow and bind her hands.

Violet bit her lip. "Please dont." Violet said. "PLease, just two hours. I swear, we wont have no plans for her to escape or anything. I'm leaving to see Shaeman and would be worried without seeing her before i went. Please." Violet said.

"We're under orders, we can't change them." Raven said emotionlessly again. She turned to leave, flanked by the guards, one carrying Shadow over his shoulder.

"Raven, please." Violet said. "Please, just 30 minutes then. 10 at the most." Violet said.

"No." Raven said in a final tone of voice.

"What if they werent her?" Violet asked. "What if they were mine? You cant say it cant be done. This can be done by all women, no matter what they are." Violet said.

"You are human, there is a difference." Raven said.
"Captain, we have to report." One guard said.
"Farewell." Raven said, vanishing with the guards.

"No there isnt" Violet said. "Ive had it done before." She said, before covering her mouth.

Raven looked once at Violet before vanishing from sight with the guards.

Violet turned back to Jamie and Saken, wide eyed. "You didnt hear what I said did you?" She asked.

Saken nodded, one eyebrow raised.

"Um....well. I would rather not talk about it." She said.

Saken shrugged and walked back into the house.

Violet sat down on the grass and started picking it. "I hate them." She said.

Jamie looked at Violet
"i did..." he said...

Violet looked up. "Huh?" She asked.

A few hours later, Shadow appeared again, breathing heavily and magic flying around her in her turmoil.

"Shadow." Violet said, looking at her. "What happen?" She asked.

Shadow calmed her breathing rate, bringing her magic back under control before speaking.
"I woke up in a cell, and Arias came to talk to me. After that I fought and ran."

"When you were there, was their a little girl named Alyssa?" Violet asked queitly remebering something.

Shadow shook her head.
"I'm afraid I didn't hang around long enough."

Violet nodded but said nothing. "I dont know if you heard what I sid before they took you or not." Violet said, "Because if so, I may need to give an explantion." Violet said.

"I heard it, but I didn't really have time to think about it." Shadow said.

Violet nodded and helped her inside. The house was quiet, so she thought Skaen and jamie had went to sleep or somewhere. "jamie is around here somehwere. Probley planning an attack." She said.

Shadow nodded. She curled up on the sofa, trying to sort through what had happened.

"Did they take them? Or thats not how they work?" Violet asked, rubbing Shadow's hair. "Do you need me to get you something?" She asked. "I think you need to tell you brother to, before Raven does." Violet whispered, having not talked to him in years.

"I was given three options." Shadow whispered.

"What?" Violet asked, standing up and getting some paper.

Shadow closed her eyes, trying not to cry.
"Get rid of them, stay there and let them be taken nto their care, or die."

Violet froze in mid letter. "Shadow, listen. This may sound selfish, but listen. I could do it, I know an old curse. no one rarely uses it. I could just leave here and then you can go to where I am a few weeks later and then you can just stay there and be pregant after using a reverse spell.' She said, tying the letter to the owl. "Take that to Shaeman." She said. "I used it for when...I was pregnant." She said. "She was kidnapped from me." Violet said. "By a mudblood."

Shadow looked at Violet.
"Jamie wouldn't be happy."

"But he would have his children. And they could have the life you never had. Hell it doesnt have to be me,it could be anyone." She said. After a few minutes, a letter came threw the window. "Your brother is coming.:"

Shadow prayed that Shaeman wouldn't freak.
"I don't see how it works..."

"I promise, its safe." Violet said. "Its a spell which switches the child or children to another woman, who can have children. I could but with missions, I couldnt carry without her being killed. She....she stole her from me." Violet said.

Shadow nodded slowly.
"So I transfer pregnancy to you so I can leave, and then take it back?"

"Yeah. Look this is what happens. If I take the children, then I can leave here, them thinking you still are pregnant. You tell them you had an abortion or whatever. About a half a month later, just come and sy your visting me. If you go right after you tell them, they will know something is up." Violet said. "I swear, when you come to visit, or whatever, you can have then trasnfer back to you." Violet said, as there was a knock on the door.

Shadow tensed as there was a knock.

Violet stood up and answer the door. "Long time no see." She said, looking at Shaeman. "What five years?" She asked.

Shaeman bowed.
"Lady Riddle." He said softly.

Violet open the door wider for him to come in. "She knows about Aylssa, I just didnt say who the father was," Vilet whispered.

Shaeman nodded, taking off his heavy travelling cloak and walking inside. The light showed up his sunken eyes even more than usual.

"Shadow, I think I need to tell you more about Alyssa." Violet whispered.

Shadow had relaxed once she saw that it was Shaeman, and nodded, sitting up ,her arms over her stomach.

"Well....I dont know how to say this." Violet started. "Well...me and Shaeman...well done something. And I got mad about it when I found out I was pregnant...so I left him and found a muggleborn. I used the spell and she agreed to take 100 gallons each month, for the rest of the 7 months. Well after Alyssa was born, she kidnapped her from me. So I was wondering if she was there." Violet said, crying slightly.

"Ok..." Shadow said quietly.

"I was afraid to tell anyone, so I didnt." Violet said. "And I didnt tell him about you." Violet said.

Shaeman looked at Shadow.
"It's not that hard to guess." he said.

Violet nodded. "How have you been?" She asked him.

"Ok." Shaeman said, burying the truth in his mind.
