Holly and Natalie's study den

First topic message reminder :

Natalie stood outside the portrait of the moaning moonstone witch with a forlorned expression on her face. She kept glancing at her watch. She was waiting on her friend Holly, one of her Gryffindor friends.

"Where is she?" Natalie exclaimed impatiently.

Jamie stared at the floor, he's nothing left to say
"well hows classes going?" Jamie asked quickly breaking the silence

"Ok....Snape is still really horrible to Holly and I...but other than that, ok" said Natalie.

"snape snape severus snape!" Jamie muttered

"Oh...please don't.....not now," said Natalie, stiffling a laugh.

Holly laughed.
"You people" she said, shaking her head, but she was kidding, as usual.

"Kidding as usual?" asked Natalie

(That would be a good catchphrase for Holly)

"DUMBLEDOR!" Jamie yelled

Shadow cringed.
"No need to shout, we're right beside you."

"Voldamort...voldamort...ohh...voldy, voldy, voldamort," sang Natalie.

((its voldemort not voldamort!))

Jamie just looked at Natalie
"on your own, but i can say that your singnig has improved with those lessons!" Jamie laughed

"Not here Jamie," Natalie hissed in his ear, "say nothing about the singing lessons, or the bassoon lessons."

Holly had cringed after the singing too.
"You guys HAVE to do that?" she asked.
Little George had his hands over his ears, though the singing had been quite good.

"can i hold george?" Jamie asked Holly

"Hold George?" Natalie said, "are other people even allowed to touch George Holly?"

Jamie waited for Holly to say he'd never thought of that

"Um, I guess," she said, quite confused, she lifted George from her shoulders and set him on Jamie's lap.
"Hi," George said looking up at Jamie.

"Well....how is he George? Is he a good soul?" asked Natalie.

Jamie looked up
"ofcourse im not in half demon yu dip-stick!" he said to Natalie

"Dip Stick?" Natalie sniggered.

"Hm...he seems alright," George laughed, and climbed up Jamie to settle on his shoulder.

Jamie screwed up his face as the weight settled on his shoulders

Shadow morphed into Wolf form, walking over to George and Jamie. She sniffed the monkey carefully.

Jamie looked a bit worried as she sniffed george thinking for a minute she was going to eat him

"You ok there Jamie?" asked Natalie.

Wolf-Shadow wagged her tail and sat down, watching George.

George stumbled off of Jamie's shoulders to face Shadow.
"Can you talk in that form?" he asked suspisiously.

Wolf-Shadow shook her head.

Jamie stopped looking worried

"But you can understand us....cool," George said.

Wolf-Shadow nodded, smiling in a dogish way.

"Are you visiting your dimension any time soon Shad?" Natalie asked Wolf-Shadow.

Shadow morphed back to human form.
"I go back every now and then."

"Cool," Holly said.
"Do you miss it?" George enquired.

Shadow turned her head away.
"Yeah." She said softly.

George glanced at her and sensed to leave the subject.
"So...," Holly said awkwardly, "Hows everyones love life going?"

"Do we have to answer that question?" Shadow asked.

"No," Holly said, wandering why on earth she had asked such a random question, "We can talk about anything...something else....if you want,"

Shadow shrugged.
"I don't know."

"You like slushies?" Holly asked.
George tutted.
"You and your frozen drinks," he said.

Shadow smiled slightly.
"Are you afraid of dogs George?" She asked.

George shivered.
"Sort of....your Wolf form is fine, as I know its you...but mongrels....you have no idea what theyre thinking...why do you ask?"

"Just so that I know that you're not going to freak out when I morph." Shadow said.

"Freak out? Me?"
Though it was common for the monkey to freak.
Holly laughed.
"Nice of you to check," she added to Shadow.

Shadow smiled before a black blur cannoned into her, having flown in through the window.

Holly stood up and yelled.
"What on Earth-"
George was in amongst the tangle of cloak.
"What was THAT?" she asked, hoping Shadow was alright.

Shadow stood up again, an enlarged black raven sitting on her shoulder.
"My 'owl'." Shadow said. "People keep feeding him owl treats which make him hyper."

"Really....owl treats just made my owl fat...I had to put him on a special diet....he's ok now though," said Natalie, smiling.

"Yeah, but this isn't really an owl, it's a raven." Shadow pointed out.

"Oh....oh yes...I see the differents," said Natalie, examining the Raven, "what do you call him?"

"Nightstrike." Shadow answered.
