Holly and Natalie's study den

First topic message reminder :

Natalie stood outside the portrait of the moaning moonstone witch with a forlorned expression on her face. She kept glancing at her watch. She was waiting on her friend Holly, one of her Gryffindor friends.

"Where is she?" Natalie exclaimed impatiently.

(thanks, she said she was nervous and i pitty her i know what that feels like)

"you wont ever learn wandless magic from a teacher here at Hogwarts, wayyy to advanced for them! If you really want to know about that kind of magic you'd have to ask someone who as the gift..."

"Or a half-demon." Shadow muttered so that only Jamie would hear her.

"half demons still have the gift" he sent her telepathically

Holly could sense the two were communicating. George had warned her of this.
"So....um....who has that gift?"

Shadow smiled slightly.

"What does that mean?" Holly asked confused.
George shrugged.
"Half demons are quite ambiguous arent they?" he whispered to Holly.

"both of us," he smiled slyly "should we show her?" jamie asked Shadow

"Do you want full demon, or white?" Shadow asked.

(I have to go very soon... It's half ten over here!)

Holly was still confused.

"ahh lets go for full demon, we should release more of it, so we can relax easier" he shrugged letting his eyes flicker black and conguring up some targets in the study room

(yea ok, i'll talk to you on Sunday.....)

Holly jumped backwards. Not because this was amazingly amazing, but because she had not been expecting it.
"Shall the magic begin?" she asked, eyes alit with the hunger for more magic.
George clambered up onto Holly's shoulder.

jamie put his hands infront of him and shot magic at the targets, the magic coming fromthe palm of his hands

Holly watched in awe as Jamie cast.
It was a terrific sight.

Jamie pulled away,
"you don't want that cast on you.... it's not tickly" he pointed out "but yea it is pritty cool when you know how to handle it.."

Shadow glanced at Jamie before showing her magic. She hovered a few feet in the air, lightning-like black magic shooting from the palms of her upturned hands.

After watching with wide eyes for a few seconds Holly muttered "wicked!"

Shadow landed again.
"But beware, it can be deadly."

Holly nodded solemly.
"Thanks for showing me!" she said happily, and George nodded in agreement.

"Welcome." Shadow replied. She spotted another cloaked figure in the hall and quickly ducked behind a statue.

Holly stared after her in thought for a moment. She had completely forgotten why she was there in the first place!
"Well she was a bit different," she said thoughtfully. Then quickly added "In a good way,"

"Don't tell her I'm here please!" Shadow hissed from behind the statue.

Holly heard this and nodded, watching the cloaked figure pass. As promised, she didnt say one word to her, though as soon as she was out of ear shot, Holly let out a sigh of relief.
"That felt weird," Holly said, "Who was that Shadow?"

"That, happened to be my sister." Shadow said quietly, emerging from behind the statue.

Holly glanced back at the walking figure, true, the two did bear a resembelence.
"Your sister?" she asked, "Then why the hiding, if you dont mind me asking?"

"She keeps going on and on at me for using too much emotion, because if we do, our 'other side' breaks free." Shadow said, shaking her head.

"Oh," Holly said blankly, not quite understanding what had just been said.

"Never mind." Shadow said, sensing that Holly didn't understand. Shadow's sister appeared right behind Shadow.
"Boo." Shadow leapt five feet in the air, a nearby statue exploding.
"Raven! We have doors for a reason!"

Holly had jumped too.
"Way-hey, whats up with the booing?" she asked.

Raven smiled slightly.
"I enjoy scaring the hell out of my sister."
"Yeah right." Shadow muttered.

"Sorry guys," said Natalie, "I was daydreaming.....you ok Bris?" she asked Holly.

"Shall we go in....al of us?" she asked her friends, "it's just that this corridor in getting pretty cold and....well....inside the portrait is heated."

Shadow and Raven shrugged.
"Ok," They said in unison.

"Oh. Yeah. Sure," Holly said, realising she had been staring at the sisters, "Let's go then,"

"Hey Raven...I haven't seen you in a while," said Natalie as she walked into the dimly lit room and ignited the torches in the room, "where've you been?"

She then conjured up a desk and little bean-bag chairs for them all to sit on.

Holly sat on one of the bean bags and watched as the conversation continued. George sat at her feet.

"I've been in my dimension, finalizing my move here." Raven said, sitting cross-legged beside her sister on the floor.

"So, are you gonig to stay here....or is that what you mean by move here?" asked Natalie, sitting down and waving her hand towards the chairs for the others to sit down on.

"Yup, I now officially live in this dimension!" Raven said. Shadow groaned.
"You do realise that Arella would have killed you for that?"
"Arella couldn't kill anyone."

"Arella?" Holly asked, feeling stupider by the second, "I know so little about you all,"

"Arella Dove Roth, our mother." Shadow said.

"Don't worry Holly," said Natalie, "you know I had alot of trouble understanding when I got here two....we need to get used to the magical world because of our non-magical backrounds."

"Oh i see," Holly said, "So, are you guys actually gonna do homework here, cause me and Jamie were thinking of.....well....not....,"

"Well, Shadow and I need to work on our magic..." Raven said.

"Oooh can I watch?" Holly asked, then felt stupid for asking such a question.

"If you want, but it's kind of a duel when we practise, so you may need to duck quite a bit." Raven warned.

"I spend half my life ducking in and out of trouble, shouldnt be too hard," Holly said grinning.

"No seriously Holly, it is!" said Natalie, "I've seen them duel...it's not pretty."

Shadow and Raven nodded before standing up, and facing each other. Saying something quickly in Demonic, Raven launched a bolt of black magic at Shadow, aiming to knock her back. Shadow dodged and sent her own barrage of magic towards her sister.

"Wow....I've read about those curses," said Natalie excitedly.

"You read to much Natz," Holly said, before quickly dodging the blast of magic.

Shadow ran towards Raven, aiming a flying kick towards her, but Raven used a string of magic, wrapping it around her sister's ankle, throwing her into a nearby wall.
