END OF TERM BALL

Ingrid walked into the Great Hall wearing a light yellow dress. Looking around, she saw that the Purple Hippos were playing.

Chris saw someone walking in. He waved knowing that she was from Hufflepuff. He then watched the Purple Hippos play.

Becca smiled as she slipped her shoe on, half running to the hall. Her hair was in it's normal state, wurly (curly and wavy put together) and was hanging just an inch or two below her shoulders. She tripped slightly as she went threw the doors, laughing at herself slightly. Her black outfit consisted of a spaghetti strapped blue dress,blue heels, a black necklace, and black earings. All in all, she had gone just a bit overboard with shopping for this thing. Of course, she'd gotten other stuff for different occasions as well, but she had still spent way too much.. Becca sighed, taking a quick glance around. She waved at Chris, leaning against a nearby wall until she actually felt like moving.

Chris waved at Becca as she entered. He stood up adn walked over to her. "Hey, Becca." Chris said. "Great Hall looks good doesn't it?"

After finally deciding on something to wear, Jordanna stepped into the Great Hall, dressed in a black and white corsetted dress and black heels. Her hair was down for once and fell in waves. She recognized Chris and waved.

Chris waved at Jordanna when he saw her. "Hey, Jordanna." He shouted to her. Chris propped up against the wall and staarted to talk to Becca again. "So what do you think of the band?"

Jordanna smiled at Chris, not saying anything, he seemed to be busy and she did not want to bother him.
Not really knowing anyone, she leaned with her back against the wall, watching the band play and the people interact.

"It should be." Chris said. "It's the End of Term. Everyone should be happy. I sure hope we get the House Cup." Chris said.

"Hello," she smiled at her fellow Hufflepuff. "I'm fine so far, just lonely. I've just gotten here myself."

Jordanna turned to Oddie, smiling. "Hello! You look lovely. How're you doing?" sha asked.

Chris saw Stephy enter. He waved at her. "Hey, Steph." Chris shouted.

"Thank you," she says. "I am all right. The Great Hall looks wonderful."

Cat walked into the Great Hall for the End of Term Ball. She received her ticket via owl and almost instantly ordered cloths for Madam Malkin's, sending her her measurements. She did her own hair, which wasn't that difficult, then put on a thin layer of make-up that almost looked natural, a technique her aunt Betty taught her.

When she got in she instantly noticed Becca and practically bolted towards her. "Becca!," she exclaimed as she hugged her friend. She let go and looked at her dress and smiled, "Nice dress. Blue looks good on you."

"Yeah, everyone should enjoy themselves," she smiled back at Chris.

Then, she heard Cat's voice, and turned to around to see her. She hugged her friend back and giggled. "Thanks! You look gorgeous! Love the dress....and the shoes, you know how i am with shoes!"

Chris looked at the girl who had just come up. "Hey, my name is Chris." He introduced himself.

Cat jokingly curtsied, "Thank you."

She heard a guy's voice and she turned and blushed. She had not noticed him there. "Oh...umm hi. Name's Cat. Nice to meet you Chris," She spoke, raising her hand to shake in greeting.

Chris raised his hand and shook Cat's. "Nice to meet you as well."

"They should," she said to Oddie, glancing once again at the decorations.

Cat chuckled. "My mama always told me I best be a lady when I is all dolled up," Cat joked, talking in her best country accent, which wasn't hard given she was born in the country and raised there half her life.

Cat smiled as Chris shook her hand, her embarrassment fading.

Cat nodded at Becca's aloud though about being thirsty. "I am thirsty too. Wanna grab a drink?" she replied gesturing to the beverage table.

"I'm always up for meeting new people," she replies.

Cat smiled when Becca agreed.

She chuckled as they walked to the refreshment table. "Well she is your sister, bound to be a bit weird," she joked.

"Anyone, everyone," she replied.

Cat gasped jokingly at Becca's words as she picked up a glass of butterbeer. "Someone weirder than you?" I asked in false shock. "How is that possible?"

"Sure," she smiled at Oddie, standing up and walking over to Becca and Cat. "Hello," she said to them, smiling and hoping she wasn't interrupting too badly.

Cat chuckled taking a sip of her drink. "Normal is highly overrated. I mean who wants to be normal when you can be fabulous," Cat replied with a grin.

Cat noticed two girls approach and smiled kindly at them. "Hi," She greeted. She noticed the one girls dress who said hello and her jaw dropped in awe. "I love your dress," she spoke in admiration.

She smiled at Oddie and replied, "I am Cat. Nice to meet you."

"Thank you," she said, smiling.
"I'm Jordanna, nice to meet you," she said, turning and shaking Becca's offered hand.

Making her way to the refreshment table Ingrid saw some girls chatting by it.

Marie slowly stepped into the hall, self consciously chewing on her bottom lip as she placed a strand of dirty blonde hair back into place, placing a hand on her cheek, finding that her skin felt unusually warm, possibly from her anxiety. She hadn't wanted to come to this ball in the first place, but then had figured what harm could it do? Besides, she could always hang out with some friends and sit most of the evening before subtly walking out of the room before it got too late.

Sighing lightly, she swiftly looked around the place as she stood near the entrance, trying to find a reason not to just run back out, which was a very alluring possibility at that precise moment.

Cat noticed another girl approach the table and smiled at her. "Hi I am Cat."

Cat noticed someone enter the Great Hall. It was Marie! Cat turned to the group, "Be right back."

She ran over to Marie, practically tackling her with a hug. "Marie you are here!"

Marie smiled as she saw Cat, letting out a small shriek of surprise as the other girl pratically tackled her, laughing lightly as she hugged her back.

"Apparently I am, unless I have a clone or something," she said with a grin.
