END OF TERM BALL

"Hey, June." Chris said as he watched her hug Becca.

kaytii walked past loads of dancing couple's that were getting the moves straight on beat to the niice soothing music kaytii sits down and takes a little sip of firewiskey instead of butterbeer after a few more firewiskeys she tryed to stand up but as the room spun she flopped back down in to her seat she didnt want to fall over like bella did and look so humiliated instead she just stayed sitting down she looked over as she heard some one shout june even though its not her name his sweet voice caught her attention

after chris caught her attention she was wondering if he had spotted her untill she saw stephy walk passed she smiled politly to stephy and got up to walk out but mearly staggerd and lent agaist a wall next to the doors that lead out to the grand staircase

Julieanna walks into the end of term ball. She sees a girl and walks up too her 'Hey I'm Julieanna and you are?' she says being polite.

Chris watched as Steph made her way to the door.

heyy im kaytii julieanna nice to meet you how long you been at the ball for ??

"hello stephy i'm kaytii" said kaytii looking quite shy as she walked over to julieanna and stephy :S

"nice to meet you oddie" kaytii said shaking oddies hand "yeah the partys going well isnt it"

kaytii spot's ame and wave's and smile's at the same time "yea sure oddie let's go get a drink" kaytii says smiling at oddie

Jake looked at the girl as she bumped into him and grabbed her arm to keep her from falling. "It's..... alright." He said in a quiet undertone that, though just above a whisper, could be heard clearly. He waited a moment and pulled a chair up, carefully helping her sit down he stood quietly and bowed his head a bit, his black hair falling slightly over his face. "Be careful miss... you don't want to get hurt."

With that he turned silently and looked around the room. Eyeing everyone that was sitting around but not in a rude way. He wasn't afraid or scared he was just watchful of them. He trusted everyone there and knew that no one would attempt to purpously harm him. At least he hoped so.

Placing his hands in his robe sleeves he closed his eyes and let out a soft breath as even in the noise and while standing, he began to meditate on the events of the past few hours.

Streams strode quickly into the Great Hall, her shoulders thrown back and head held high. The only sign of her nervosity was the fact that she kept tugging on her left glove, pulling it slightly off and then shoving it back on.

She looked smashing in a dark brown silk dress that swept the floor. Its only accessories were a light blue belt, wrapped neatly around her waist, and light blue, semi-transparent gloves, reaching to just below her elbows. The dress and gloves perfectly complemented her rosy cheeks, deep blue eyes and shining brown hair, which was swept up smoothly with a few tendrils curling on her face and neck.

Smiling at everyone who looked up to see who had entered, Streams then walked off to the drinks table and helped herself to some champagne, which she then sipped in corner of the Hall, perching on the edge of her seat as she shyly surveyed the electric crowd.

Jake didn't move, didn't open his eyes and didn't show any signs of noticing her movement until she got near enough that she could hear him as he spoke quietly. "Evening miss." He said as his finger rested lightly on his arms. Still even so he didn't move.

After a moment though he opened his eyes and looked over at her, the corners of his lips twitching as if he was holding back a small smile. She was by all means... rather pretty but he wouldn't say that aloud.

Jake nodded to her slightly as she responded. He stood still and watched her before holding out a hand to her for a handshake. His skin was a nice rich color but he felt cold. He didn't really find much pleasure in many things.

He stared deep into her eyes and finally allowed his smile to show.

"cool i didn't think about that am in hufflepuff" she said taking a sip of butterbeer and having a glance around the hall " so i suggest you no Etta?" she questioned in wonder

Moira walked into the great hall, obviously very late for the end of term ball. She had wanted to get her look just perfect because tonight was her night to have fun. It seemed as if everyone had been dancing for quite awhile already but that didn't bother her.

She wore a very dark green dress robe that, even in the light, looked almost black. It was slightly tighter than usual, due to her own alterations back in her dorm. She had a small yellow pin adorning her brown curly hair. It was the only thing about her appearance that suggested what house she belonged to.

She walked over to a table and grabbed herself a butterbeer. As she sipped it she glanced around the hall. She didn't know many people and since she was late a lot of little groups had already formed.

She weaved in and out of dancing people looking for someone she recognized.

Having no luck a good ten minutes later she resigned to a chair at a lonely table. Maybe this wasn't her night to have fun...but who knows...

Spotting Moria sitting by a table, Ingrid walked over to say hi.

Moira had dropped into some serious spacing out when someone popped up to distract her.

"Hey Ingrid, I was wondering when I would recognize someone... how long have you been here?"
